Amawta Labs
We work on AI research, model compression, and infrastructure tools.
We do not want to rely only on benchmarks. We look for hypotheses that explain behavior and cost in AI systems.
While much of the industry scales models, we study what structure can be compressed, measured, and reused. That focus helps us build more efficient products.
Each hypothesis is tied to experiments and clear limits. We publish selectively and keep operationally sensitive work private.
We work from these ideas
Intelligent systems show measurable regularities.
Understanding those regularities helps design better systems.
A technical team in Chile can produce useful, verifiable research.
From Chile
The name Amawta comes from Quechua: the wise one, the master. The Amawtas were the keepers of knowledge in the Inca Empire.
Today we use that name for concrete work: research, prototypes, and published results when they are ready.
Roadmap
Founding of Amawta Labs and the first research lines on intelligent systems.
Prototypes, publications, and external validation.
